The map is support for the list, not a replacement for it. Everything it shows - venue name,
status, hours, deals and neighbourhood -
is available as text in the venue list and the venue detail view, which are fully keyboard
operable.

What changed
New listings, closures and changed hours from the most recent pass over the sources, each
with the date the change was seen, plus the timestamp of the dataset itself. This list
loads with the dataset.
About this map and its data
Happy hours change without notice. Treat everything here as a strong hint, not a promise:
confirm the hours and the prices with the venue before you go, especially on holidays,
during events, and for anything described as running until close.
How the data was gathered
Every venue was checked by hand against the venue's own website or social account first,
and against dated local happy hour listings second. A listing is recorded only when a
source states the days, the times and at least one priced item. Each venue stores the
date it was verified, the kind of source used, and the source links, so you can check the
work yourself from the venue detail view.
Where two sources disagree, the app says so rather than choosing a winner: the venue is
flagged and both claims are shown with both links. Where a source gave a time only as
"until close" or "from open", the app shows exactly that instead of inventing a clock
time, and marks the value as an estimate. Where a listing could not be re-verified on the
last pass, it is marked as unverified rather than deleted or presented as current.
Confidence
High means the venue's own site confirmed the hours and the prices. Medium means a dated
third-party listing confirmed them, or the venue's site confirmed part of the detail.
Low means the only sources found were undated, indirect or mutually inconsistent; those
listings are shown, marked, and are the ones most worth a phone call.
Sources and licences
Venue websites, venue menus and venue social accounts, plus dated local happy hour
listings. The links are on each venue's detail view.

Building heights are approximate. The City's height dataset predates several newer
towers, so some heights are estimated from floor counts and some are hand-corrected.
The model is a stylised aid to orientation, not a survey.
Distances
Near me asks for your location only when you choose it. Distances are approximate straight-line
measurements, not walking routes. Your location stays in memory for this session; Clear location
removes it. Use Directions for a route. Shortlist estimates assume 80 metres per minute and
45 minutes per stop. Without a location, the plan begins at the first venue.
Privacy
Favourites, notes, visits and the shortlist stay in this browser unless a shared backend
is configured for the group. There is no analytics and no advertising.
